Description

Here's a new Igntion Coil, it's a Ballast coil and suits the following models from MG -

MG B 1800cc (From Dec 74- 82)

MG B V8 (3500cc) (1973- 76)

This is for the Ballast Type ignition used from Dec 1974 onwards.

This function of this coil is to generate the 000's of volts required by your spark plugs, they deteriorate with age and the insulation between the wires inside can breakdown and therefore the coil needs replacing once in a while.
