Here's a new set of Cam Followers (x8) for the following 4 cylinder models from Mini -

MINI

Mini 850cc (1959 On)
Mini Cooper (970cc) (1963-67)
Mini Cooper (998cc)
Mini Cooper (1071cc) (1963-67)

Mini (1098cc & 1275cc)

Riley Elf
Wolseley Hornet

The Cam Followers sit on top of the Camshaft and go up and down as it spins, they move the pushrods that open and close the valves at the top of the engine.

There are 8 Cam Followers here which is enough for one engine, you fit these by removing the Cylinder Head and dropping these into place. You must cover the working face and the sides with new oil before fitting

It's sensible to replace these as part of the engine rebuild, sometimes the working faces become pitted or worn and scored particularly if the engine has been standing for a long time or has very high miles.
