CLUTCH HOSE PIPE x1 (Hillman Imp Mk1 Parts) (1963- Oct 68)

Here's a new Clutch Hose Pipe (The Correct one) for the following models from Hillman -

HILLMAN

Hillman Imp Mk1          (1963- Oct 68 Only)

(Also Sunbeam, Imp Sport, Singer Chamois etc for same years only).

This Clutch Hose will only fit the Imp Mk1, it will not fit the Imp Mk2.

** READ THIS IMPORTANT NOTE **

The Imp Mk1 uses an Adaptor between the Clutch Hose and Slave Cylinder - The Adaptor is correct and is meant to be there. 

That means the Hose is NOT meant to screw directly into the Slave Cylinder. 

You need to tell your mechanic that before he bins the old Slave cylinder with the Adaptor still on it.

** That means you've got to remove the Adaptor from the Slave Cylinder and re-use it **

(The Adaptor is 3/8" UNF x24 up to 7/16x20" UNF)

(You can tell the Mk1 as it has an Aluminium Slave Cylinder with the flanges halfway down the body - See background picture).

**  Don't buy any old Hose because it look right and it's cheaper - it won't be right **

** This is the EXACT hose with the Correct Length, Correct Ends with the Correct Threads **
