CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER & SLAVE CYLINDER (Triumph TR7 & TR8 Parts) (1975- 81)

Here's a new Clutch Master Cylinder & Slave Cylinder (With Pushrod) for the following models from Triumph -

TRIUMPH

Triumph TR7  (1975- 81)     (** Inc. TR7 16V Sprint **)
Triumph TR8  (1979- 81)    (** Genuine TR8 Only **)

(** MASTER CYLINDER HAS THE CORRECT METRIC THREAD **)

(** SLAVE CYLINDER HAS THE CORRECT METRIC THREAD & CORRECT NOSE **)

NOTE: Don't buy the 'Fits Everything' Master Cylinders you'll see also listed on ebay for £20 - 

The thread for the pipe is wrong, (Should be Metric) and it's a bigger diameter so you can't make it fit. The rod is the wrong length and it's connecting end is different. The angle of the reservoir should be sloped not upright.

If you have done / or are doing a Rover V8 / TR8 conversion on a TR7 - You'll need to know exactly which Rover the engine came from. 

The slave cylinder will not go into the bell housing of an MGB V8, TVR V8, Sherpa V8, Rover P6 3500 V8, Discovery V8, Land Rover V8, Range Rover V8 or any other Rover V8 that you might be putting into a kit car. 

(** The Slave Cylinder will only go into the Bell Housing of a genuine TR8 or a Rover SD1 **)

Rover SD1 V8 Engine No/s begin with 10A, 11A, 12A...... Up to 36a.

Triumph TR8 V8 Engine No/s begin with 10E, 11E, 12E, 13E, 14E, 15E.

(Note - If you see a Slave Cylinder listed for the Land Rover Discovery and the TR7 then it's wrong as they use different threads for the pipe. These slave cylinders come in at least three different threads - this one will Only fit the above models).
