Correct Metric Thread.

Description

Here's a new Clutch Master Cylinder (5/8") with the correct Metric Thread for the following models from Triumph -

TRIUMPH

Triumph TR7 (1975- 81) (** Inc. TR7 16V Sprint **)

Triumph TR8 (1979- 81) (** Genuine TR8 Only **)

(** WITH THE CORRECT METRIC THREAD **)

This master Cylinder is different from the Spitfire / Herald - The rod is a different length, the Pipe hole is bigger and it's Metric.

NOTE: Don't buy the 'Fits Everything' Cylinder you'll see also listed on Ebay for £20 -

The thread for the pipe is wrong, (Should be Metric) and it's a bigger diameter so you can't make it fit. The rod is the wrong length and it's connecting end is different. The angle of the reservoir should be sloped not upright.
