Description

Here's a new Clutch Release Bearing for the following models fitted with a Coil Spring Type Clutch from Standard / Triumph -

TRIUMPH

Standard Herald 948 (948cc) (1959- 61) (** All of them **)

Triumph Herald 1200 (1147cc) (1961- 65) (** All of them **)

Triumph Herald 1200 (1147cc) (1965- 67) (** Some of them **)

(Only suits Heralds with a Coil Spring type Clutch)

From 1965- 67 some Herald 1200's were fitted with the Coil Spring Type clutch and some with the Diaphram Type clutch.

How To check -

Take out the Clutch Slave Cylinder.

If you have an Alloy Slave Cylinder where the Groove for the Pinch Bolt goes all the way round then you need a Coil Spring clutch.

If you have the Steel / Alloy cylinder with the Groove for the Pinch Bolt is only on One Side then you have the later Diaphram Type clutch.
