CORE PLUG ENGINE SET (Ford Consul Parts) (2.5V6 & 3.0V6) (**Granada Shape**) (1972- 75)

Here's a new Engine Core Plug Set for the following V6 models from Ford -

FORD

Ford Consul (Granada Shape)  (2.5 Litre - V6)     (** 1972- 75 **) 
Ford Consul (Granada Shape)  (3.0 Litre - V6)     (** 1972- 75 **)

(The above are Essex engines)

(This is the 70's Granada shape - Don't be the first one to buy it for the 50's Consul)

These plugs are pressed into the engine block to fill up holes left when manufacturing the engine.

After a long time they rust and you start to leak water, if you keep your car full of Anti-Freeze this helps protect them against rust.

It's very easy to change these, to remove the old ones you knock a sharp screwdriver through the old core plug and lever it out. You then press the new core plug into the block, put a flat bit of wood over if and hit it home! (You'll need to drain the water out of the engine / radiator first!).
