Here's a new complete set of Single Valve Springs (x8) for the following models from Triumph -

TRIUMPH

Triumph Herald (1959- 71)

(Suits all engine sizes)

(Excluding GK Eng Prefix on the late Herald 13/60's which used double springs - So have a look if you have a late Herald 13/60).

You get 8 single springs here which is enough for one engine (x4 Inlet and x4 exhaust), the photo shows 8 springs in a packet.

You replace these springs when the Cylinder Head is removed and use the correct tool to compress the old springs, remove the collets and then to refit the new springs.

Replacing these springs is really very worthwhile, the springs will have weakened with age and some can even break. The results are problems running at medium / high revs and possibly burnt out / leaking valves.
