FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS x2 (Triumph TR3b & TR4 Late Parts) (** From Jan 62- 65 **)

Here's a new pair of Front Brake Calipers (x2) for the following models from Triumph-

TRIUMPH

Triumph TR3b    (From Jan 62- )

Triumph TR4      (From Jan 62- 65) (** See Ch. No/ **)

(TR4 From Ch. CT4690-  Wire Wheels)

(TR4 From Ch. CT4388-  Steel Wheels)

(** These are for cars from Jan 62 onwards  **) 

(** So that excludes the TR3 of 1955- 57 and the TR3a of 57- 61 **) 

These are for use with the later 10.8125" Discs fitted from Jan 62.

Earlier cars made before Jan 62 will have 11" Discs. 

These used with the later / smaller pads (GBP132) with holes in them for pins fitted from Jan 62.  

Earlier cars made before Jan 62 had larger pads with 'Ears' and no holes in them (GBP172). 

These are the later Type 16 Calipers fitted from Jan 62.

Earlier cars made before Jan 62 will have Type A Solid Calipers or Type B Split Calipers.

These calipers come complete with the pistons and seals already assembled, they do not include Brake Pads or the Pad Fitting Pins / Shims. 

These are 16pb Type calipers, your original calipers may be 16p Type which only means the design of the seal around the piston is different.

These calipers are interchangeable and Triumph fitted both varieties on these models - there’s no difference in braking between them as the pistons are the same diameter.
