FRONT BRAKE WHEEL CYLINDER x1 (Vauxhall Victor FB) (1508cc & 1594cc) (** LEFT SIDE **) (1961- 64)

FRONT BRAKE WHEEL CYLINDER x1 (Vauxhall Victor FB Parts) (1508cc & 1594cc) (** LEFT SIDE **) (1961- 64)

** See Note About Hole In Piston **

Description

Here's a new Left Side Front Brake Wheel Cylinder (x1) (0.8") for the following models from Vauxhall-

VAUXHALL

Vauxhall Victor FB  (1508cc & 1594cc)     (1961- 64)

(**Not for the Victor FB VX4/90 model which had Front Discs instead**)

(NOTE - From Ch.42844 onwards there was a hole drilled in the piston to take a return spring. These cylinders Do Not have that hole drilled in them. I don't know how important it is - but you'll have to drill it yourself if required).

(NOTE - You'll see 23.8mm Front cylinders listed much cheaper for the Victor FB - They're Wrong. They're 37% to big and so you'll end up with something like a 30% softer pedal overall (Assuming you've got the correct rear brakes). Also if you start mixing the two sizes - You'll end up with a brakes imbalance acorss the axle.

(Note - Left Side means the Passengers side on a UK Right Hand Drive Car).

These models use x2 wheel cylinders per front wheel - You're buying x1 cylinder on this listing.

Don't be a Clever Dick and buy these for the Victor FC101 or anything other than the exact years & models I've written above. They won't fit and you'll be wasting everyones time.
