IGNITION COIL (Triumph 2000 & 2.5 Saloon Parts)

Description

Here's a new Ignition Coil, it is a non Ballast 12v coil and suits the following models from Triumph -

(Colour may vary between Black or Silver)

TRIUMPH

Triumph 2000

(Only up to Dec 69, later 2000's use a Ballast coil- See my other listing).

Triumph 2500

(Only up to Dec 73, later 2500's use a Ballast coil- See my other listing).

Triumph Spitfire Mk1 (1147c

The function of this coil is to generate the 000's of volts required by your spark plugs, they deteriorate with age and the insulation between the wires inside can breakdown and therefore the coil needs replacing once in a while.
