Here's a new Ignition Kit for the following models from Standard -

STANDARD

Standard 8         (1953- 60)  

Standard 10       (1953- 60)  

These cars originally had a Side-Entry cap with screw in leads - It's rubbish - Replace it all with this kit that uses proper Push-In leads.

In this kit you get -

1) Distributor Cap
2) Points   ** POINTS ONLY SUIT 1957- 60 **
3) Rotor Arm
4) Condenser 
5) HT Ignition Leads (5 of them)
6) Coil (May be Black or Silver)

Any restoration will need this kit and any running engine will need these service parts every now and then.

If your Standard does not start easily, power drops off particularly when accelerating or runs unevenly - then fitting this kit is a good start. 

These parts are all easy to fit but you'll need to set the ignition timing and points gap once they have been installed.
