Here's a new Ignition Kit for the following models from Triumph -

TRIUMPH

Triumph 1500 FWD     (1970- 73)

Triumph 1500 RWD     (** 1973- Dec 74 Only **)

Completely different for later models of Dec 74- 75.

Easily identified as a Square Sided Cap was fitted then instead of this Domed Cap.

(The changeover is at Engine No/ YC8,740). 

In this kit you get -

1) Distributor Cap
2) Points
3) Rotor Arm
4) Condenser
5) HT Ignition Leads (5 of them)
6) Coil (Ballast Type)

Any restoration will need this kit and any running engine will need these service parts every now and then.

If your Triumph 1500 does not start easily, power drops off particularly when accelerating or runs unevenly - then fitting this kit is a good start. 

These parts are all easy to fit but you'll need to set the ignition timing and points gap once they have been installed.
