Here’s a new Engine Set of Piston Rings (STD Size, 4 Ring Type) (Made in the USA by Grant) for the following models from MG –

MG B (1800cc)               (** From 1964- 71 Only **)

(**From Eng 18GB- 18GG Only**)

(You MUST check your Engine Code - It's written on top of the engine, you can't miss it).

Only for the 5 Bearing / 4 Ring Engines of 1964-71  (Eng codes 18GB-18GG).

Not for earlier 3 Bearing / 5 Ring Engines of 1962-64 (Eng Codes 18G, 18GA).

Not for later 5 Bearing / 3 Ring Engines of 1971-80    (Eng codes 18V).

(You can't loose one ring to make it fit later engines - The Oil Rings are different for the later Engine Code 18V).

*** This set is STD (Standard Size). Ensure you know the size you require before ordering **

(Some engines may have had upgraded 5 Ring Pistons fitted - Really you need to get them out to see what size you need & check the number of rings before ordering). 

This set contains four times - 

x3 Compression Rings.

x1 Oil Ring.
