REAR HANDBRAKE CABLE (Triumph Spitfire Mk1 Mk2 Mk3 Mk4 Early Parts) (1962- 73 Only) 126cm

Here's a new Rear Handbrake Cable (Wheel To Wheel) for following models from Triumph -

TRIUMPH

Triumph Spitfire Mk1
Triumph Spitfire Mk2
Triumph Spitfire Mk3
Triumph Spitfire MkIV (**Only up to VIN / Ch. No. FH50,000 in aprox 73**)

(**This Cable is 126cm long **)

(**From the above Chassis No/ they fitted Longer Rear Axles with a longer 135cm handbrake cable instead**)

This cable goes from one drum to the other drum. (It not the same as the cable that joins the handbrake lever to the compensator).

Note that this is the earlier type of cable, the later Spitfires after FH50,000 had longer halfshafts so the later cable is longer than this one.

This cable does not suit the Herald, later GT6, Vitesse, later Spitfires or anything other than what I've written above.
