Here's a new Timing Chain Kit for the following models from BMC -

AUSTIN / MORRIS

Austin / Morris 1100 Saloon Mk1 (1962- 67)

Austin / Morris 1100 Saloon Mk2 (1967- 71)

(** Not for the 1300cc **)

(** The Mk2 of 1967- 71 was available as an 1100 or 1300 so make sure you know what engine you have **)

Included in this kit it the following -

Timing Chain

Felt Oil Seal for Early Timing Cover

Rubber Oil Seal for Late Timing Cover

Tensioner Rings x2

Gasket for Timing Cover

Crankshaft Lock Tab

You need this kit for any engine rebuild, the oil seal will have gone hard and the timing chain will have stretched making it noisey and more likely to break.
