TIMING CHAIN KIT (Austin Nash Metropolitan Parts) (1200cc) (Ser1 & 2 Early) (**See Eng No/**) (**1953- 55 Only**)

Here's a new Duplex Timing Chain Kit for the following models from Austin / Nash-

AUSTIN / NASH

Austin Metropolitan Ser.1                (1200cc)           (1953- 54)

Austin Metropolitan Ser.2 (Early)   (1200cc)           (**1954- 55 Only**)

(** To Eng 19,182 in 1955 Only **)

After the above Engine No/ (Part way through Ser. 2 in 1955) they used a different (Kidney) shaped Timing Cover gasket with a different (Hydraulic) Tensioner.

For those of you who are real experts that means this kit straddles the B Series1200A and the early re-engineered B Series 1200B.

You need this kit for any engine rebuild, the oil seal will have gone hard and the timing chain will have stretched making it noisy and more likely to break.
