Here's a new Simplex Timing Chain Kit for the following models from MG -

MGB (1800cc) (** From 1971- 80 **)

(** Not for earlier Engine Codes 18G - 18GK of 1962- 71 which had a Duplex chain instead **)

Suits Engine Code 18V Only - The Engine Cose is really easy to find, open the bonnet and it's on top of the engine.

You need this kit for any engine rebuild, the oil seal will have gone hard and the timing chain will have stretched making it noisy and more likely to break.
