Here's a new Duplex Timing Chain Kit for the following models from Morris -

MORRIS

Morris Oxford (Ser. 2,3,4,5) (1489cc) (**From 1955- 61**)

Morris Oxford (Ser.6) (1622cc) (1961- 71)

(**From Eng 42,842 in 1955**)

The first Oxfords of 1954-55 (Before Eng 42,842) have a different (Oval) Gasket & different (Rubber Ring) Tensioner.

You need this kit for any engine rebuild, the oil seal will have gone hard and the timing chain will have stretched making it noisy and more likely to break.
