Here's a new Timing Chain Kit & Sprockets for the following models from Triumph -

TRIUMPH

Triumph Spitfire Mk1  (1147cc)     (Eng No/ - FC)    (** From 1962- 65 **)

Triumph Spitfire Mk2  (1147cc)     (Eng No/ - FC)    (** From 1965- 67 **)

(All except the last few Spitfire Mk3's with GK Engine No/ - That uses a larger oil Seal & Sprocket)
 

(Your model must be listed here - there are variations. This is the kit with the earlier small Timing Oil Seal &  Sprocket - The external diameter of the seal is 6.0cm).

You need this kit for any engine rebuild, the oil seal will have gone hard and the timing chain will have stretched making it noisy and more likely to break.
